Ayurvedic Energy Balls - A healthy tasty snack

 

Quick and easy to make, prepare them and freeze in batches so you can easily take a healthy snack out of the freezer each day.

Makes about 15 balls

INGREDIENTS

  • 100g pecans or other nuts of your choosing

  • 75g raisins

  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed (or a mix of ground nuts I prefer linwoods mixes)

  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • 50g desiccated coconut

  • 2 tbsp meridian peanut butter

METHOD

Put the pecans into a food processor and blitz until they are small crubs then add the rest of the ingredients except the cocount, pulsing to combine.

Then shape the mixture into small balls roll in the coconut to coat each ball and then place int he fridge for 20 mins
