Basic Ayurvedic Porridge Recipe made with Water

 

This is a basic porridge recipe for using during The Cleanse.  Choose to sprinkle nutmeg or cinnamon on the top before serving if you wish.  When not cleansing you can chose to add fruits, nuts and honey and make it your own.

INGREDIENTS

 
  • 30g of organic porridge oats

  • 150ml of water


PREPARATION - Serves 1 portion

Stir oats into water.

Bring to the boil and simmer for 5 minutes stirring continuously.  Do not microwave, Ayurveda does not support using microwaves to cook food.

Pour porridge into serving dish.
