How to use an Ayurvedic tongue scraper


It may seem an unusual thing to do but once you start you probably wont want to stop. Your breath and oral hygeine will be much improved.

Tongue cleaning has its roots in India dates back thousands of years.

By cleaning your tongue daily you will notice the changes in coatings on your tongue and this is an excellent indicator of your overall health and wellbeing.

  • Clean your tongue first thing in the morning before eating or drinking

  • Hold the 2 ends of the tongue cleaner in each hand

  • Stick your tongue out and drag the scraper forward over your tonue

  • Rinse and repeat 3-4 times

  • Occasionally place your tongue cleaner in the dishwasher 


    • Removes toxins and bacteria from the tongue

    • Improved oral hygeine and odourless breath
