Warm loving smoothie

 

During the winter its best to avoid too many raw or cold foods so I came up with this nourishing warming smoothie inspired by Valentines and the celebration of love

INGREDIENTS

 
  • heated milk 500ml (almond, oat you choose)

  • cooked apple

  • 1/2 ripe avocado (skin and stone removed)

  • 1 heaped tbsp of Beetroot Powder (choose an organic high quality blend of super reds)

  • 1 tablespoon of aloe vera powder or 4 tbsp Vera Juice or

  • Decorate with hearts or edible rose petals or a few strawberries

Blend and serve

Serves 2 large portions (during cleansing it is helpful to have  this in a flask and carry it around with you to have mid morning and mid afternoon) This can only be consumed during days when fruit is allowed but feel free to modify


PREPARATION

Prepare all the ingredients, place in a blender and blend until smooth.
